Peridotis a type of Olivine thatoccurs in silica-deficient rocks such as volcanic basalt and pallasiticmeteorites, its green color is dependent on the iron contents within the structure of the gem.
It has been believed for thousands of years that Peridot has protective powers and can aid in awareness and growth, it is said by some that Peridot carries the gift of "inner radiance".
